When Sussex County State Bank decided to build a new branch in Sparta, New Jersey, they carefully chose carefully chose contractors they were advised were best suited to bid on the project. After analyzing the bid proposals, qualifications, reputation, history, and background of the select contractors, Klae Construction was chosen. The attractive 2,400 square foot building was designed by Charles Schaffer Associates of Newton, N.J. The exterior incorporates period design qualities, in keeping with the bank’s location on Sparta’s historic Main Street.
